I’ll start by saying THANK YOU to every single person who donated, shared this project and came to assemble the care packages. You are a part of something that is so much more than you know. I truly feel this project is bringing change to this world, raising awareness for families who may be in need during a crisis situation that is often overlooked. Maybe not even overlooked, but an area where we just didn’t know how to help….

Project Mindful Mama 2017 is here!!!
“See a need, fill a need”
When tsunamis hit we think of sending care packages, when homes burn to the ground neighbors begin collecting blankets and food for families in need. When someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness we begin to think how to fund that persons dream, wish or vacation. Help is all around and that is such a beautiful thing, yet there are many areas where little or no help and support is available. This years theme for Project Mindful Mama is “See a need fill a need” from one of our families favorite movies, Robots. My entire thought process behind this Project was that there was little help for families during some of the most difficult moments they will ever face. Maybe not even the worst battle, but it’s damn near impossible to sit there and unknowingly watch your child’s health decline to a point where everything in your families life stops….
Who says this gorgeous Coloring Tray Centerpiece is just for kids…
You know that if you were sitting in front of this tray with all those pretty colored pencils and clean white paper you would be tempted to play….

The children thoroughly enjoyed making this canvas art and the reveal was quite entertaining with ohhs and ahhs. Then up on the wall our beautiful snow flake canvas went. Now, being February here in cold midwest it’s time to avoid anything winter related and what a better way to warm up the mood then with hearts….
