You’re going to want to try this SIMPLE and TASTY recipe for Sweet and Savory Ham
I’ve been wanting to share this delicious recipe for a long time now. I love the combination of salty ham with a perfectly flavored sweet glaze. I anticipated posting this earlier in April and because of Maxwell’s unexpected health issues every post for that month was put on hold. Maxwell sure does love this ham so we have one waiting in the fridge to enjoy again this week for the second time. The shocking part is that I’m able to cook anything right now while we are still adjusting from all the craziness that’s been happening. There are too many phone calls to make, people trying to deliver things to my home, meetings and doctor appointments for there to be any time left in the day for cooking. The sweet and savory ham allows me to make a home cooked meal without any fuss. To make things even more simple, I buy a precooked spiral cut ham from Trader Joe’s while they are in season. Thank gosh for this easy recipe and my toddlers love for ham in this time of chaos.
Looking at this picture is making me HANGRY (feeling of hunger and anger). We first eat with our eyes so I’m continually striving to improve my food photography. I always ask myself how bad does this picture make me want to eat. Let me tell you, having a food blog can be dangerous! Taking pictures of all my favorite foods then having to look at them on a daily basis is not easy. Imagine all your favorite things in one place staring at you everyday! It sure is hard not to eat all day long. Good thing I have children to keep me very busy. 😉
