World Teacher’s Day Stamped Apple Card

September 29, 2015 by Trina Marie

World Teacher's DayThis Monday October 5th 2015 is World Teacher’s Day. What better way to say “Thank you” than a card hand made from you and your little one. This year I am so thankful for Maxwell’s preschool teachers and think the world of them. Knowing that he has such wonderful teachers looking after him helps put my mind at ease with all the complicate health issues he is currently having, that is huge! I have never been a parent who dropped my kid off at school and only worried about the normal stuff, but this has also made me very appreciative of the special education teachers who truly put their whole heart into their job. THANK YOU to every teacher, especially the special education teachers who have those added needs to care for. I could never do your job and I am thankful for caregivers like you. Your helping shape our children into who they will become and have a bigger influence than you realize. I’m sure just like being a parent, teachers have those days where you can’t wait for a crazy day to just be over so you can crawl into bed. Just remember you are appreciated and what your doing matters very much for so many children and parents!

Stamp your apples with a paper towel or toilet paper roll using red paint onto white paper or card stock. Then add the brown stem, green leaf and a little black to the bottom of the apple.

Add your message inside and sign your name. You can also say “I think the World of you!”

Message for Teacher's card

If your looking to have some more fall fun you can stamp your apples on a tree. I simply drew the outline of a tree for Maxwell, then he stamped all his apples. My little guy was so excited for this craft, he immediately ran and hung it up on his art board. Then we ate Crock Pot Apple Pie Oatmeal and Max talked about how he couldn’t wait to give his teacher’s their cards next week. Such a great afternoon, I hope you can build wonderful memories with your kiddos while doing this fun fall craft.apple tree

Happy Fall !!!
